I wasn't kidding when I said that we were trying to take advantage of Jeff's long weekends. The weekend after the aquarium, we went to the circus. Jeff's parents were nice enough to take all of the kids and grandkids to the circus and we had a great time! We showed up an hour early so that we could go down on the floor and see the performers. Emery, of course, exploded all over her clothes in the car on the way over but this has become a daily occurance so we're always prepared with an extra outfit or two...or three...or four.

After the pre-show we made our way to our seats and settled in for the ride. It was great! Tightropers, gymnast/acrobats, tigers, elephants, trampolines, clowns, and that wheel of death thing. The kids and adults all had a great time!

It was so nice to be able to have a little in-town day of fun, especially inside since we had record breaking heat of 118-122 degrees that day. Once again this outing wore her out. She fell asleep right when we got home and after a 2 1/2 hour nap we had to wake her up so that she would be able to go to bed later that evening.
